About me
Ashley has served as the Program Director of the Environmental Education Leadership Corps AmeriCorps program since the program's inception in 2018. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Berea College, with minors in Women’s and Gender Studies and Communication.
In her role, Ashley leads the administrative and compliance operations of the program, ensuring that AmeriCorps members can effectively deliver environmental education across their communities. While her work is largely behind the scenes, her impact helps make environmental learning more accessible, equitable, and sustainable.
Ashley is based in her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, where she enjoys spending time outdoors with her daughter- her greatest inspiration- and exploring local parks together. She believes deeply that environmental education is for everyone.
