Becky Slone has 40 years of experience in early childhood education, expanding her focus from indoor learning environments to safe, inclusive outdoor play areas through her work with Child Care Aware of KY as an Early Care and Education Quality TA Specialist. She is a certified Early Childhood Outdoor Play Area Inspector through NPPAS and a strong advocate for nature-based play. Recognizing the growing importance of outdoor learning, she promotes adding natural elements to early care spaces to support children's social/emotional, health, and physical development and overall well-being.
