About me
Clare Condon is the Environmental Literacy Coordinator at Pine Mountain Settlement School in Harlan County, Kentucky. In her role, she develops and teaches PMSS' environmental education curriculum, maintains their 7-mile trail system, coordinates community events and adult naturalist workshops, and manages the live animal collection. She is passionate about connecting local communities to land through equitable, place-based education and outdoor experiences. In her free time, you can find her and her Great Pyrenees, Moonie hiking and foraging all over the southern Appalachian Mountains.
