About me
A native to the Louisville, KY area, I am a Purdue Global undergraduate student studying environmental science with a focus on sustainability. Maintaining a consecutive 4.0 GPA, I'm also involved locally in 10 different environmental related organizations. I recently finished my AmeriCorps service with our Louisville Metro Solid Waste Services department and am beginning a community outreach style speaking initiative that is based on social and environmental sustainability called The Bigger Picture Perspective! The initiative is rooted in community unity and environmental stewardship. I have plans to continue my education, though, as an aspiring sustainability scientist I aim to connect the dots for people in the minds and in the hearts so that individuals can understand not just the 'what' but also the 'why' when it comes to sustainability. My motto for it is Mitigating Human Behavior in Favor of the Planet!
