About me
Laurie T. Thomas is an Extension Associate, Sr. at the University of Kentucky Department of Forestry and Natural Resources. Laurie provides forestry and natural resource education programs that raise the awareness and importance of Kentucky’s forests. Her educational programming efforts include the Kentucky Master Naturalist Volunteer Program, Kentucky Forest Leadership Program, 4-H Forestry programs, and the 4-H Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences Academy. Laurie is a graduate of the University of Kentucky Department of Forestry with a Master of Science in Forestry. She is also a Master Certified Environmental Educator.
