Tresine Logsdon is the Energy & Sustainability Curriculum Specialist for Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS), where she drives student-driven sustainability innovation across the district. In this role, Tresine works closely with students, teachers, principals, community partners, business leaders and elected officials to forge a collaborative culture of sustainability throughout Lexington. A key component of her work is founding and mentoring the Bluegrass Youth Sustainability Council, a coalition of 60 student-leaders from 11 Lexington public & private high schools who design and implement sustainability improvement projects on campuses and throughout Lexington. Tresine led the design and spearheads the execution of
FCPS's 5-year Sustainability Action Plan, a commitment to forging a new paradigm based on an ethos of social, economic and ecological sustainability and regeneration among all students, faculty and staff.
